Living Maths Olympiad 2012

This is a notice from Living maths ( www.livingmaths.com ) FYI

Dear Maths Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that the Olympiad papers/notices/resources etc. are available for download!

We have decided to move away from making a CD this year and we are allowing schools to download all the content.  The Olympiad caters for ALL learner abilities from grade R up to grade 9. Last year we had about 160 000 South African participants and about 7000 international participants.  This year we hope to have many more.

You will find a folder with notices for South African notices - these notices tell you about the event and there is also a set of instructions on how to run a hassle-free event.

The Olympiad materials have been placed in a dropbox folder.  Please feel free to forward this link to any teacher/colleague or organisation that would encourage learners to think!

You are most welcome to email me if you have any problems with the downloading of the files.

The South African leg of the Olympiad ends on 21 November.  We will collate the results within 3 days and send out certificates and Truly Calculators to all the National Prize Winners.

Good Luck and Enjoy!

Regards

Steve Sherman (Olympiad Convenor for 2012)
